I'm the first time posting something here in the Pokémon section. First i want to tell you something about me: I'm JNike, i'm 15 years old and living in germany. I'm very good at cooding in C#. I hate coding network releated stuff, but i love coding with the XNA Framework. I've done already some small games and i began coding a pokemon game whiles ago and i've finished the maps, walking, the figures, a small menu, slogan and warping from one city to another one.
I loved playing pokemon when i was small, now i want to code a own game like pokemon, with the tiles, maps, ideas from pokemon. I want to code everything like pokemon at the same and won't use any own graphics, just when in need.
Now about the game i want to create: It's coded with the XNA Framework, of course OOP+, using some mysql releated stuff for example the figures, user datas etc., there will be a small login, the whole gameplay and much more.
I won't code the network releated multiplayer functions because.. hm.. i can't really code with network stuff, i hope somebody else will code it when im done coding my game, i will code it very safely that it will be easy to code an multiplayer function.
Of course i will code OOP with classes and other stuff, i'm carrying about this, because it can hit me once later when i've did something wrong. Pokemons and their movements will also be coded. You can't see pokemon runing wild, just some, not all. The grass will also be randomly coded with area pokemons. You can change those pokemons in the map.xml documents.
I will use XML for the maps and other stuff, like configs, styles, methods and settings.
Tomorow i will start coding a pretty good engine. Just hope that i won't lose my fun at coding, give me always hope that i don't get bored at this.
