After numerous frustrations and countless issues I came across trying to create my own source for v38, I figured I would need more developers to help me.
So, hate to admit it, I gave up.
After that I nearly quit developing GMS server altogether.
Then it hit me.
You remember that super fun feeling of having to explore the Maple world in 2005 when it was released? How being noob was what made the game?
I thought that I could try and develop a new kind of server, one that's both nostalgic and unique. It's a nearly 100% custom server. It's just as hard as old MapleStory, but with a huge twist. That, meaning that it's completely changed around for the players who will join to explore.
What kind of things will the new players explore?
Well, that's TBD.
But most of it will be changed around quests, maps, training spots, maybe even towns.
The point of this server is to bring back that great feeling of exploration and challenges
Hopefully everyone here would approve of this new idea, cause you guys probably know way more than I do at server developments than I will ever know.
