[Help] What Am I Doing Wrong ?

I would like to add custom items to my gunz server . I decompiled model and put the elu and dds in weapon/shotgun , renamed it to what i want . i can open the elu in mcv and it reads that the dds goes with it , then i added the weapon to weapon . xml . Then I went and compiled the model , and edited the zitem to what it should be . I gave the item a custom id number and a name in dbo.Item in the database , (do i need to add more in there than just name and item ?) . Then i went in my admincp and sent myself the item but its not coming up . :( , Please help me .
